![]() Predators can maintain their prey after being eaten, allowing players to be the prey of players who are themselves the prey of other players. Convert the team healing system to reverse digestion, instead of automatically healing team mates when they're the prey of an ally. This allows team mates to safely eat enemies while also healing their allies. Allow peeking outside the stomach and through the predator's mouth when using the zoom key as prey. Fix prey being released at the respawn position of the predator instead of the location where the predator died. Each character is briefly documented inside the bots.txt file.įull instructions for running Vore Tournament are available on the official repository: Add a new set of default bots, based on characters with specific personalities and likes / dislikes. Hopefully something simple like a check or two so they think to break off or change targets depending on circumstances might help. Bots seem to have trouble picking prey targets, they seem to avoid trying to eat small/easy meals and don't commit because of their being transfixed. A few extra lines there may help their activity because the relationship AI has had an interesting effect of making them much easier as a player as they seem to actively avoid trying to eat you if you consistently act predatory (though I did have a squirrel rush me and feed himself to me all the time once that was cute).Īlso, it feels almost like it is harder to eat enemies in general. Maybe an increase on angle for the eat command for players would help? A lot of the weapons have knockback so damaging enemies to make it easier to eat them in that moment becomes counter intuitive unless all you use is shotgun melee. The precision necessary just seems punishing given the base game's mechanics. Shall definitely look forward to seeing what happens with graphical updates in 2.1, here's hoping we get some more animal types. Herbivore types like bovines are pretty nice.FreshPorts - games/xonotic: Fast-paced, chaotic, and intense multiplayer first person shooterĪs an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases.
